30 Days hath September... and hath I until Ecaudor!

Okay, I have to admit I set up this blog at the start of the summer to guarantee that I would be able to have some kind of link that wasn't "kimgoestoecuador2*75$39." Or maybe it's because I was super excited about traveling- I had just planned Costa Rica, which was the best experience of my life, and definitely coming off of a high from that.

So, summer recap: I was home for a few weeks before going to Costa Rica for 3 weeks. I went to a language school (Costa Rican Language Academy- amazing) in San Jose for 2 weeks and traveled alone for one. I learned so much about Spanish and Costa Rica and getting by on my own, it was a great experience. Then I came back, visited my grandparents, and started work at a day camp a few weeks later, where I will work until (count 'em) four days before I leave for Ecuador.

Today I took a day off of work to get a Cert. of Good Conduct for my Visa and go to the doctor (again, Visa). I can't say I will mind a 4-day week. I bought the Rough Guide to Ecuador yesterday... everything looks great. The only thing I am worried about as of now is that the names sound a lot more "indigenous" than Costa Rica (in that half the time I have no idea how I would pronounce them... I guess I will learn!) I've also been emailing back and forth with my family, who seems really nice. There are two daughters, ages 19 and 22, which is awesome.

I wish I could be there already!
